Westbrook 45 assists through 4 games.

How many assists in the 4th Quarter of these games combined? FOUR (4)

He just goes into full out me only chucking mode in the 4th Q.

 

That is what is great about Sports. If Harden comes out and eliminates them with a 35-40 point game, then nobody remembers game 4.

A positive to game 4 is that the Rockets hung 40 on OKC in the fourth. Maybe that is a sign that we figured something out.

I would try the hack a Roberson from the get go if fouls start building up. He is a really disruptive defender. If he could shoot, he would such an elite weapon.

 

Aside from the free throw line, he is shooting really well this series.

Hope we see home Bev, and the OG road Ryan (he owes us) next game.

 

Some of it has to do with fatigue. Westbrook is visibly tired in 4th quarters and stops driving and most of his assists are from driving and dishing. As much as we dog Harden for conserving energy, him not going 100% all the time like Westbrook allows him to come up big late in games.

 

yeah it's always going to be the what have you done for me lately mentality. that's just the standards harden has set upon himself for us. but the fact that the rockets were still able to pull out a win is impressive to me. and he did hit a big shot at the end of the game so regardless we can take it for what it's worth. playoff games are meant to be difficult and won't be pretty most of the time. you grind it out and hope for the best

he's not shooting well. his makes are mostly rim shots off dump offs or just fast breaks and a fluke 3 here and there.

maybe westbrook should stop burning himself out trying to pad his rebound stats to conserve energy.

 

fkn skip Bayless. Don't confuse harden has so much help, with, harden willing to pass the ball to his teammates to score the basket.

Russ may have just as much help too, if he would just pass the ball to them/facilitate a good shot for them
