    I feel extremely honored and privileged to be the first to post on what will be an epic game thread.

    1. Rockets cannot dig themselves in 1st Q holes. Come out focused, show intensity and win that 1st Q
    2. Cut down on the turnovers
    3. Get the 3 point shooting back

    Please... shoot the three ball again. OKC had athletic wings and guards that closed out quickly on the line. Not too much with Spurs.

    Three-point shooting was a big problem for the Rockets in their matchups with the Spurs this season. They shot 29.4% from deep on over 38 attempts per game. The Spurs shot 38.5% from three.

    Beverley only played in two of the four games, but they were both losses.

    Rockets blew two of those games... easily could have beaten the Spurs 3-1 this year, but woulda coulda shoulda. I think it will be a good series.

    Don't fall for the Spurs letting you do what you want for the first 2 to 3 quarters.... stay poised.

    Houston lead 16,and 6 points in tge 4 th quarter and lose finally. They should shoot more,2 grad more rebounds and good defence. They should have lesson learn

    Weren't the Rockets up something like 13 late in the 4th in that 2nd home game they lost? I think they were without Capela that night as he had just gotten injured in Minnesota, but that was still an inexcusable collapse. The frustrating thing is the Rockets beat themselves in the last 2 losses to the Spurs. I can accept a series loss to San Antonio if they simply outplay us, but I'm gonna be PO'd if the Rockets give this one away.

    As for Game 1, this is the best chance to steal one in San Antonio. They're gonna be more tired than the Rockets, especially given the age of their roster. And they're used to facing the Grizzlies who play a completely different style of ball. They may be off guard a little in this game, so capitalize on that.

    I don't think the rest will be a big factor for the Spurs. Yes they're coming back from a grueling, physical battle against Memphis, but they're still getting the weekend (Friday-Sunday) with Game 1 on Monday. Rockets will be off for almost a whole week. I wouldn't be surprised if the Rockets start off slow again for Game 1 with the long layoff.
