Harden is the point guard and he likes to walk the ball up the court.

its hard to watch hardens little strolls, only when we re loosing. we re down by 10, 3 mins left in 4th, i d expect him to give a final push, taking shots from 40ft, i dont care.
but in a tie and winning games, i have no problems. hes resting, catching other teams relaxed, messing with their heads, minimizing to, and able to change pace. if you re constantly pressing, the enemy can adapt easier.

Not sure about this, my eye test says we are more successful when Harden brings the ball with urgency. If hes walking it up turnover is usually behind the corner.

i dont wanna put the words in youre eye, but i think youre talking about isos at the ends of quarters, the plays in wich we invest the most of our expectations.
and, to clarify, im thinking only on his plays after the opponent scored or else situations where their defence is already in position.

so, its just a tought, i could easily be wrong.

Change of pace is a huge element of Hardens game. A lot of the times he is using a possession to set up the next or a look a few possessions later. They mentioned this on a recent telecast too. How he will come down and shoot a pull up three just to bring the defender closer the next possession for the blow by

So true.....I thought for a few minutes I was making that up but James is definitely looking down the road game wise for his next moves...u can do that when you are the smartest and most talented player on the floor with experience now included. tendencies , %, defensive scheming , game plan, know your players.........etc

Go Rockets !.......finally. It was a cold year I tell ya.

Harden's game has always been about change of pace, which is why he makes defenders look silly without having out-worldly athleticism like Westbrick or Wiggins. Rhythm is extremely in most sports and Harden's playing style breaks your rhythm. Harden is an incredibly intelligent basketball player. He might lose focus at times or get lazy on D, but he is hyper smart at the game and almost everything he does is to force you to make adjustments that he will then exploit.

sorry to bump this, but i thought this was an awesome moment friday night. i didn't really see much of eric and harden getting along on the court, but it was refreshing to see this.
