I'd bring him up... garbage time and emergency situation type thing... like if Trez gets ejected or something....
When I watched him it really looked like he had his feet stuck in mud. Very slow lateral quickness, very slow and weak jumping. He seemed out of shape, or just plain unathletic. Very different from Capela's porblems. Onuaku's a big dude so maybe he can still make a contribution if he learns positioning well and uses his muscle.
Russians unlocked it for me. Now excuse me while I get back to celebrating 304 reasons America is going to be great again.
rookie Clint looked 100% bust before his playoff metamorphosis LOL. Lets see what this chinanu kid can do
He doesn't look nearly as explosive as Clint. Clint really does have the authentic abilities that are rare. He really gets up there for rebounds/blocks/dunks. Nanu doesn't look like he can jump that high. He is a good passer tho for a young center.
As I said in another thread . We won games in 14-15 playing Dorsey and tarick black .if they can give you a solid 10-15 min a night , it makes sense to see what chinanu can give you .
Just D-League but he already looks to be a better rebounder than Ryno Is it wrong of me to want us to call him up and play him just so I can see him shoot FT's?
Ye he can contribute, why not. For solid 15 minutes, lots of hassle, strong defense and get out of the way on offense he'll be all right. Harel will take a bigger roll, Nene will find the strength and we'll be fine. Still need to find another big for the rotation but I wouldn't press the panic button just yet.
Thank You! I sure anyone who's played basketball, even at your local gym, understand how frustrating and bad you can look when you play with scrubs versus when you play next to ppl you know and are really good.
