Simmons said it was being reported on twitter. I don't follow twitter and can't link who reported it.
Everybody is "shopping" their pick. Everybody is going to see what trade value the thing has. This isn't anything that doesn't happen with every draft.

Otto Porter is as close to a sure thing as a draft pick can get and he's a know defensive stopper and 3 point shooter. He'll probably be on the board till 3rd pick cause there's no way the Wizards let him slide.
To be honest, I was just thinking to myself that they would probably do this and was just going to post this suggestion in the NBA Dish on the 2013 Lottery thread. I didn't even read about it, but if you think about it, the cavs probably don't even want Noel. They would have been just fine if they got the #3 pick so they could draft Porter. I'm sure they'll look to trade the #1 pick for the #3 or #4 pick + pieces. I don't think Noel is going to be that good...
LOL wow...you need to stop overrating Parsons man. He's going to be getting paid somewhere around 10 mil per year in a few years. I'd trade him AND Asik for that #1 pick.
For who?? Noel? That would be a very bad move. Parsons would be a top 5 pick in this not so exciting draft. Last season was the time to trade Parsons for a top pick in that draft. A little too late.
Parsons would NOT be a top 5 pick in this year's draft in my opinion, maybe, but I don't think so. And I wouldn't necessarily want Noel since he tore his ACL and my guess is that he will have an injury-filled career. I would be okay with him due to his potential though. Not that I hate Parsons, but he is going to get PAID in 2 years, and I don't feel comfortable giving him close to the amount he's going to get from other team's, which is why i don't mind trading him.
