He picks James Harden as an MVP candidate (at least to be mentioned with Lebron, Durant, etc) and the Rockets to be the favorites from the West. Skip and SAS ripped him up for this. But he claimed if he can't believe in his team, then how can the rockets believe in them. Obvious homerism on his part but any takes? I think we could pull some surprises, but the odds are slim considering we are a very young team. Definitely think we're a team nobody wants to face come playoff time and a lot of people across the nation would root for us as well.
Well there's no question the Rockets are the Trillest of the Trill in the league. At least Bun is smart enough to know, you won't be taking and debate seriously on First Take.
Skip says the Rockets schedule will get rougher? He says the Rockets will move up to 7th though so maybe he meant Utah or something.
That statement right there let me know Skip Bayless doesn't study what's going on with teams that are not in the top 3 in the east or west same goes for SAS.
Outside of the spurs there is really no team that's really scary in the west IMO. Clippers can be schooled if you slow the game down and OKC turns the ball over a lot and Houston took Harden.
They are really uninformed. Talk about the difficulty of the schedule and then SAS says the OKC game was settled in OT.
In the next segment they talk about ND being the only school with their own channel. They forgot about UT. This show needs to be axed.
I'm glad bun is a homer. He's old school. We need more fans like him less of the fans that are doom and gloom every other game. Hate those sad sack fans
