Ok.. so are you going to explain or give some context to all of this or just respond to some post with one word answers??

Your original OP is so vague and has a magnitude of different answers depending on who is selling what and who is buying what.

Half of your responses in here are stupid and make no sense and it appears as if you got the wrong end of a deal somehow. If you want to vent, vent with a point.

I have been venting with a point. The one word answers are in response to stupid posts. My question and point is very simple. Do you think customers lie more or the salesperson? I know I have an answer. Simple question. Very very easy. If you cannot answer it then dont play. Not in the least bit vague.

Lol. You do realize you’re asking a loaded question right? I did answer it a few posts into your OP, check it out. You responded with yet, another lackluster opinion with zero context.

Again, you seem to be seeking some sort of validation while attempting to be a know it all. Cutting other posters responses down because you their answer is “stupid” is immature. Yes some posts are sarcastic, but some also have an answer that could be right depending on the type of sale/buyer and situation. Your opinion of what is right and wrong to your particular question doesn’t mean other people can’t think differently.

Hmm, I think you're dealing with something...

In a meta non-specific way, the salesperson because they'd be out of business if every customer was lying to them.

You're also dealing with a self selecting sample size. Sales who don't know how to read the situation are going to be outcompeted over time. If it were that simple...there are people who treat negotiation as a sport, and like sports there are people who win at all costs and those who avoid areas like doping or deflating footballs.

It's definitely not a one size fits all answer. Greed isn't the only motivating factor. Competition, personality (nature and nurture),entitlement, race/class, even blood sugar comes into play.

Heard on a podcast that sentencing by judges were worse right before lunch than their aggregate sentences after one.

Maybe one person slipped early in the negotiation and now has to live that lie. Or maybe they're flat out unscrupulous.

Ironically, we are doing more digital transactions out of convenience and to avoid dealing with unscrupulous people in person, but the lack of face to face contact makes both parties more apt to lie.

If I were to guess, it's that last part playing a big factor in your personal question

I like to think its equal.

For me in 2019 the biggest problem is the salesperson selling me parts they don't have. Then having to wait 2 weeks for something that should have been there in 2 days.

Great. Thanks for your answer. You think the salesperson is more dishonest. Why?

Because the customer has less reason to lie.

Either he wants the product or not.

I have you the answer in the previous post.

It's becoming clear you are just attention seeking.
