seems like every season, either Morey or the Head coach has some type of issue with a disgruntled Rockets player. It's pretty common now. Tracy Mcgrady, Aaron Brooks, Terrence Williams, Kyle Lowry, Goran Dragic all had some type of issue with either the coach or management.

 

To be fair McGrady was on his way out and his superstar abilities nearly all gone.

Brooks, Will, Lowry and Dragic were all on rise though that is concerning.

 

Asik was probably the best player in the playoffs for the Rockets against the team with top 10 all-time SRS, I'd put him over Yao at this point as greater Rockets center.

T-Mac was not T-Mac anymore and he could not deal with it.

Adelman made the right move starting Lowry over Brooks. Brooks has proven to be a flash in a pan.

Far too many teams have had issues with T-Will.

Lowry sulked over wanting to keep Adelman's system from day one under McHale.

I wouldn't call not giving Dragic a player option an issue at all. Morey had his offer he was prepared to make, which didn't include that option. So Dragic took another contract more to his liking.

 

Not buying any of it TBH, It just reads like the two sides have agreed on a narrative, more than anything else.

I wish Asik wouldn't even talk sometimes. The guy acts like he's God's gift to the Rockets.
