Are Harden and Durant in a lower class than Kawhi, Lebron, and Curry?

So we have some who are underselling Draymond Green and how much he means to the Warriors. The same folks saying that Warriors won because of Curry and not necessarily because of Green.

And the discussion led to the argument that Curry is in a separate class compared to other franchise players.

Do you think Harden and Durant DO NOT belong in the same class as Kawhi, Lebron, and Curry?

Apparently there are some here that think Harden and Durant should not be in the same class as those players.

Personally, given Lebron's decline, if anyone I dont think he is in that category anymore.

The key question you will need to ask before answering the poll is this:

Do you think Curry would have won those titles without Draymond Green?

I can see Harden critics making a case that he is cause he's the only one without a ring but why Durant? 1x MVP, 2x FMVP and consensus 2nd best player since he came into the league. He's already done more than Kawhi for example.

    But no.

Because thats how the other person framed it.

I made the poll using the wordings they used.

They are hell bent on giving Curry all the credit for the Warriors titles while minimizing what Durant and Green have done. Poor Klay does not even get his name mentioned lol.

Have you seen what the warriors have done before and after Durant?

They are actually better. Even Seth Curry said so

No one said green isn't extremely valuable. And so is Klay.

But Curry is the main driver of everything they have going. Best shooter in history.

Durant is superfluous and moreover doesn't fit their offense

The Warriors are great because they are all stars that are excellent at their roles and high IQ.

It does not mean that any of them are the single best player in the league. That's an extra logical jump that can't be proven one way or another. Just like Harden isn't a second tier player because his team can't beat that team. Players contribute, teams win games.

I swear a lot of times asking NBA fans to analyze player value is like asking random people on the street to explain quantum physics.

If they don’t have green. They would have Giannis to replace him.

I think it can be proven. You don't have to agree, but it's certainly not crazy to think Curry is the best player in the league at this juncture.

Klay and Green yes they are good too, but they aren't gonna be #1s somewhere.

Durant is just lol. He struggled in OKC so he came to be an irrelevant players the warrirors don't miss. He'd fit the rockets iso offense though.

I saw them win a chip against the most depleted playoff opponents I have ever seen then blow a 3-1 lead to the Cavs after a historic 73 win season the following year. Afterwards they recruit KD and destroyed the same Finals opponent.

That Seth Curry quote is taken way out of context. He said that they were harder to guard not that they were better, which is true. We give KD all the isos he wants and consider it a win if Steph and Klay doesn't touch the ball, but when things bog down, its pretty nice to have that go to bucket.

Well they lost in the 73 win year because Curry suffered an MCL injury in the first round vs rockets and he sucked in the playoffs that year.

They we're overwhelming favorites to win the title otherwise.

In a league that would be forced to evenly distribute talent, both of them would be #1s. They are top 30 players.

Curry is a great player …. but no better than Harden or Durant.

The difference is he has a great supporting cast …. Lebron has always had to shoulder the entire load. He's no longer able to do that , not in the same class as Curry / Harden / Durant / Kawhi anymore.

You give Harden a player like Draymond next to Tucker and that team is just as impossible to beat as the Warriors are right now.

Green is a difference maker that doesn't show up in the stat sheet. Hate the guy ….. cause he's on the other team. He's really the 2nd most important player on that team every night. Durant and Curry can swap being the #1 ….

Hell no , Curry doesn't win a single title without Green …. and Durant doesn't come there without the first one.

When Curry came back he averaged 29.3 PPG on 45.8%, 40.4%, 90.2% shooting against Portland and OKC.
Or was he only injured against the Cavs when he averaged 22.6 PPG on 40.3%, 40%, 93%?

Durant should not stay the same class as Harden.

    Durant is really unstoppable.

When the other team is more worried about Curry...
