And the reality is 1) they are not going to have a Lakes home game at Noon PT time (3pm EST). 2) And not going to have the Canadian Raptors in primetime when the networks don't get Nielson rating points from a Canadian market.
I never really got the hubbub about wanting a Christmas day game. It's a game... on a holiday... ok?? I guess more people are free to watch and it could be a cool thing to go to as a memorable Christmas. Otherwise, to me, its just 1 of 82 games.
Lots of people don't like their family. Lots of people would like to go to a game with their family. Lots of people ant to escape their family. A few people don't really celebrate Christmas. It's a day where nothing other than the NBA is on for entertainment, and only the movie theaters are open. So yeah, it's an outlet for a lot of people I guess.
Ha... good point on family. I'm not christian though married into Christmas. My kids are still relatively young so are more likely to want me to do something with them then ignore me. I'm sure I'll appreciate it more when they get older. Though I am easily entertained by any great NBA game... doesn't "HAVE" to be Rockets... and in fact given the above I'd rather it not be so I can spend time with the family
