Broke up with Sprint after 18 years. Switched to AT&T for the DirecTV promotion. BOGO Note 8s for my wife and I + $25 off our DirecTV bill + HBO for life. They gave us $300 each for our old phones now we are paying less for unlimited data than before. So far the coverage is pretty good and I love the Note 8.
Has anyone's shipped yet? Mine is suppose to come in by Friday, but it's still at "preparing to ship".
Me too but I had some issues with the app when I was trying to upgrade. Sometimes the shipment dates get moved up after the product launches.
I thought I was quick enough to order and would be receiving on launch day, but I guess I was seconds too late lol
I got a tracking number on Sunday and my phone is currently at a FedEx distro here in Houston. Today is the day. Preordering through your carrier and not Apple is by far the best way to go. I had a coworker order at 9am last Friday through AT&T. She got a tracking number yesterday expecting delivery today as well.
My preorder from Apple.com is on the way. This morning I got an email saying the one from BestBuy.com was delayed a month. The other two are due 11/17. Best Buy getting a lot of backlash from this.
Walked into Best Buy today and just picked one up. No one there or anything lol. Face recognition works great, no home button is seamless. Only weird thing is getting used to the new multi app switcher. Swipe from below and hold slowly brings up the app switcher. Used to double tap home button I think. The screen is really cool too. Animoji is fun, just wish it let you record for longer. Switched from 6S Plus.
Going to Best Buy and hopefully they have an X in stock. If not I’m not too worried about it. Are they offering any trade in credit for 6S?
You can check stock online. Just google iPhone X and go to Shopping and it should say Available Nearby. Then look for Check Other Locations and it should list every Best Buy that has it in the area. There seems to be plenty.
I've got a 7+, which I really enjoy (went to that from a 5S, so no wonder!), but the X looks like it would fit much better in the front pocket of my jeans, Dockers, etc., plus it's better tech, so I'm interested. We have our "plan" through Apple, with Verizon the provider. Anyone know what deals are available? A trade-in of a 7+ through the Apple "plan" for an X? I should look it up myself (and I will), but figured someone here has already gone through the process.
