    Shock clutchfans, Dwight! Do it!

If he does, that shooting coach is about to be the most in-demand shooting coach in the history of bball.

I really am starting to hate this jump shooting league, man. I need someone to come in and just be a man again.

agree. you look at young bigs now that are playing organized ball hoping to get to the next level. they're not focused on any moves down low like back then. its working on jumper after jumper for kids these days. Granted I guess you could say that's what these guys need with the way the league is turning into but low post play has become a lost art and its a shame imo

Poor Atlanta. We already witnessed Dwight trying to add to his game by "posting" up and we all saw how that went. Now those fans have to watch him attempt to shoot mid range jumpers...

It's ironic you say this... because Dwight did try to 'just be a man' and bang down low.

He was constantly called for BS offensive fouls.

You just need to face it, this is the way the league is heading.

The days of dominant, strong, backing down big men are over.

Because to the majority of people that's not as exciting as a player dribbling for 10 seconds of the shot clock through their legs on the perimeter and launching long balls

First his jumper is dry, now his system? Must be the tension in his shoulders

During the dominant big man era they had to create the Barkley rule to prevent players from taking too long to back down in the post because it was boring as hell.

And Dwight wouldn't get that many offensive foul calls from the post because the ball was usually heading the other way after he coughed it up.

i for one enjoyed Barkley holding the ball for 15 seconds before going into his post moves to back someone down :)

Post game is definitely dead.. Cousins, Horford, Zbo are the rare big men now.

On this topic.. Dwight sucks and Atl will struggle.. Horford > Dwight.

It's not worth losing Al Horford for this chump. The Hawks should have put a priority on Horford's happiness even if it meant passing on D12. The Hawks will be a mess.. I guess they think Howard will compliment Milsap.

They're probably dead because post player are inferior to shooters. Coaches and players go with what works, if post play was better they would've stucked with it innovating on offense. Btw it's not that post play is dead, rather 1 dimensional big men who can only score in the post are dead. Guys like Melo, Lebron and KD who can all score in the post are pretty much as big as big men back in the day, a lot of them are even taller than Barkley.

Atlanta won't be bad at all IF Dwight hangs around the basket for lobs and putbacks.

Shruder + Millsap pick and roll(or pop) with Korver and Bazemore on the corners...with Dwight around the basket ready for lobs.

    Not bad.
