They could use him after Varejao goes down with a season ending injury 20 games into the season.

This is very bad news. They can give them joseph or danny green or most likely splitter. Dont do it spurs!

Cavaliers would be stupid to help Spurs in any shape or form.

Splitter or Diaw + Mills perhaps.

Diaw+Mills for the Haywood contract would be a devastating move.

The Spurs are going to get LMA, keep Danny Green AND Cory Joseph AND Tiago Splitter. LOL

I think Amare can definitely provide a scoring punch. Similar to Speights/Lee for the Warriors. But he's so damn awful on defense just like those 2 guys. Not sure how I'd feel.

Give them diaw. Diaw has a very strange personality and good chance he will flame out if he doesnt like the environment esp with the heavy iso ball.

Cavaliers would be beaten in the finals by Spurs again if there is a trade with Spurs.

By the way, am I the only one hoping Jordan signs with Dallas? Sure, he might help them stay a lower-tier playoff team, but a team led by maxed-out Parsons and Jordan isn't a serious threat in the West. And it would absolutely be a crippling blow to the Clippers. Would effectively shorten the "true contender" list, IMO.

Completely agree. With the warriors spurs thunder and griz, it would be nice to knock out the clippers

Im more worried for the cavs than the spurs. The spurs are old. I know we say it every year but they are. Ginobilli will likely retire and tp has gone downhill. Even with lma im not as scared about them than for a team like the cavs that are young and this is their last significant trade chip to add depth. If they get spliiter and joseph then we are all screwed.

    Agree 100%.

Was just talking about this very thing yesterday with my brother. Jordan off the Clippers is huge. Much more concerned with them than Dallas with Jordan, Parsons and another second or third tier free agent addition.

Agrred. And the clips good luck if they are hoping to s+t chandler back to them. Their best option is to spend the whole mle on biyombo but then how are they going to add pierce? Meanwhile the mavs even with dj they dont have any pg.

Doc "let you down?" Rockets WTF is more like it. What a perfect post to sum up all the dumb insider-doubting posts. dobro's "Maybe Doc got lucky" with DH12 for example. What utter nonsense.

Most of us come here really hoping to read info from insiders. Real insiders that are willing to share info with us are rare and they put their relationships at risk to share that info with us. It is a thankless thing as there is always some dolt that thinks he's being clever by doubting them. All of them. It doesn't matter how many times they are vouched for and it doesn't matter how much info they've provided that turned out to be right. And every insider will wind up "wrong" most of the time because things are always changing -- that's not being wrong. It's giving us the latest info at the time they get it. Everything is fluid. That doesn't make these guys less real or their info less precious.

Why are people so damn bent on running off our best posters? It is the most irritating thing about this great BBS.
