Don't understand the love affair for brewer, but I do like the fact we added quality depth to the team.
Has this already been posted? Kinda concerning.

Full transcript, question & answer, of Dwight Howard's reax to Corey Brewer trade. That's weird, but it goes against the story about how he and Harden tried to recruit Brewer. Wouldn't worry too much about it.
so can anyone succinctly summarize why Brewer is a good fit for this Rockets team? Any notable accomplishments? I don't really watch much NBA outside of the Rockets..
Nothing concerning. He probably liked Cisco a lot and he was sad that he was waived but we got better.
I think Dwight and Troy were close and he is probably a bit upset about the trade. Dwight is like the older brother to these young guys, so maybe it's just more of losing Troy and Garcia as to why he's responding this way.
Did he say specifically Dwight was involved in the recruiting? I'd assume he was, but can't remember if he just said "guys" or named names. I'm wondering if there's anything to what someone posted in the Garcia thread -- that guys might have a bitter taste in their mouths about the Rockets circumventing his no trade clause by just waiving him, such that the team he refused to be traded to could just pluck him off waivers? Hopefully I'm overthinking. Just really weird that Dwight was about 1000% more positive about what looked like a very crappy offseason.
Probably just hates to see Garcia go. They were friends. Dwight's been around long enough to know how things work in the league.
Concerning, but didn't Clutch say the day before that he saw Morey talking in hushed tones to Howard & Harden? I assume he was running this possibility by them, so I can't see why he would be all that upset. He probably just doesn't want to sound too positive about two guys leaving.
Gets steals and runs the break, plays at a fast pace and can score in the open court. We were missing that without Parsons and Lin. Sizzle's probably right, I guess he and Garcia were buds. If Brewer plays well I'm sure he'll come around lol. I imagine that when Morey walked into the locker room and spoke with him after the NO game the trade was discussed.
I did not read this as being wildly different than any other Howard statement concerning the roster. Tempest in a tea cup.
It saddens me to see Troy go but he deserves to get more minutes and grow as a player. Once he develops we could get him back next year. This is a good thing!
I feel like I remember Howard acting the same way when Josh Powell was cut. I took it to mean Howard knew it was the right move, but he didn't want to sound like he was in favor of the move because Powell is his friend. Seems like the same thing with Garcia.
Could be that Dwight has been accused of playing GM before, and just doesn't want to come across that way.
