Media making Rox new "Villains" of the NBA

What is this fool talking about? No one even cares about the Rockets. They gonna be a 6-8th seed this year and once again first round exit.

 

Rockets aren't villlans

They are more like jesters trying to convince everybody to take them serious but people Arnt buying it. And the recent "failures" in their eyes only confirms what they already thought, that the rockets arnt what they think they are.

 

I just stay away from espn comments , reddit , every teams sb nation , sherwoodstrauss & royce young twitters , knickstorm and carl herrera troll baits & im good .

 

Three of our starting five are now defensive stoppers. Our bench has been reinforced with hustle/defensive guys. Even Harden is working on strengthening that aspect of his game. I think its safe to say that we'll have a different team next year.

Also, we aren't villains. Like many have already said, we haven't done anything notable enough to draw to ire of other NBA fans.

Also, it's more about demographics. I'm in Hawaii, not a whole lot of chatter about Rockets amongst friends. It's more GSW and the Lakers and few mentions of the Jazz and Minnesota.

The media can talk all the trash they want to but if you're not into the Rockets or have no interest in any of the players on the Rockets -- it's just a story that goes unread.

The Rockets aren't seen by the rest of the NBA fan base as villains. They're just viewed as unlikeable. They can become villains if they actually win something.

 

Villains or not, it's hard to deny that the major media outlets have **** on the Rockets all summer.

 

this. saying we're villians/bad boys is homerism. No one takes us that seriously.

 

I say with ariza we are up by 10 and they don't care if he makes the shot.

 

All top ten teams are taken seriously.

 

There are a lot of reasons to view the rockets as the villains. Daryl Morey's approach doesn't help either. Win or lose, I'm enjoying the show.

 

Unless a trade happens. 4th or 5th seed. 2nd round tops.

It's starting to get closer, but still all the gambling odds have us as the 4th best team in the west. Dallas is closing in, but still below us at 5th.

 

its just like with anything sport, people want to see someone fall... i bet you our tv ratings go up because of this tho.
