Maybe Parsons was supposed to follow Lillard and Harden told him what the plan was.

The point is, do the Spurs players do the opposite of what Pop tells the players? No

All TJ had to do was take 2 steps to his left and it could have ended differently

He knew and instructed Parsons, tall enough and not too slow guy to guard DL. He assumed Parsons could stand right before DL when he shoot. However......

Dwight Howard live post game

 

We live in a society that's all image and little substance. Prime example: pretty boy Parsons running his mouth like a fool.

I would side with the tinman on this one...it's disgraceful to connect Clutch City to the monstrosity that was the McHale-coached Rockets of 2014.

I feel terrible for Dwight. If Dallas wins their series, he's gotta be devastated with his decision.

Right - i think most people would grade it this way being level-headed.

It was a tough game and we just didn't have it in us to win it experience wise, stamina wise, and coaching wise.

 

Even with the Lillard game winner, I think the real factor this game for Portland was Lopez.

Seemed like every time Rockets took a lead he would make timely shots and putbacks. His baskets on Harden got Portland back from something like a 7-8 point deficit.

If Harden thinks he is so great then why didn't he take Lillard on the last play? Everyone knows he can't play defense but that what championship star players do...

 

I really only feel bad for Dwight. Dude gave it his all. We have a lot of growing to do.


On to the Nfl draft

 

This is the first season this team plays with Howard. I think with a better coach, this team will do well.

 

it was terrible inbounds pressure defense. he could have been on the bench and had the same effect.

 

You cannot overlook Asik. He just did the most blatantly boneheaded thing at the worst possible time by holding. It was so obvious it was going to be called and he wasn't going to get away with it. It just made no sense why he did that like he was going to get away with it. Not saying it would have changed the outcome as Lin might not have taken or made the 3...but it was a pretty big negative play at a bad time.
