Rick Adelman would have been a nice coach...

d12 doesn't join the rox with adelman. adeleman defense would be even worse.

Don't forget that their only playoff series over a decade and a half came under rick. They probably would have gone further but still took the champs to 7. Some losers here have some serious Adelman issues.

Morey got McHale to help recruit Dwight and mission accomplished.

Next year we'll get a real coach. Tom Thibodeau?

Rick Adelmans team is under .500, Rick Adelman did not want to go through the rebuilding, chasing after stars.

Mchale does need to be moved on though.

Doesn't matter what coach we have we will still have a 3-digit-page thread asking to fire them...

I feel like McHale was never really an NBA coach. He was supposed to be a stop gap coach for a team that had developing young players. We didn't need anyone good. I will be surprised if he is still here after next season...actually no, I won't. Morey probably thanks him every day or getting into it with Lowry which led to Harden and Howard.

He doesn't know what it takes to be a good coach. He should know Korver is beasting from 3 this season and that you can't give him any space. JVG would have and he would have prepped his players before the game.

I mean really from what I understand Stan Van Gundy and Howard are cool now so maybe we can get him. I would love to get JVG back. If not then George Karl or someone like that would be great. I know Karl doesn't do well in the playoffs but I think his system would be great here with this roster.

    Adelman is a decent hc

But really most hc would be a vast improvement to Mchale.

nope, Adelman is not the answer. we also hated his lack of in-game adjustments; that's why we called him Coach Sleepy.

Get one of those young coaches who have been assistants to bigtime NBA coaches. We need energetic coaching and fresh ideas.

Those two front court players are atrocious at defense. Rim protection at league worst levels. Pek and Love are top two in points allowed at the rim.

These "good" coaches wont implement the 3-ball/finish at rim analytics philosophy. They will run their own systems.

Do you want me to compare Mchale's overall coaching record with Adleman's?

I'm a big Adelman fan but I think he has lost his mojo this year. I don't know what he would do with this Rox team at this point. I was thinking at the beginning of the year he could do a lot but now I don't know.
