Hindsight is 20/20 but can anyone remind me why we let Adelman go? Sources tell me he's pretty good at set offensive sets.
I'm pretty sure Adelman has done plenty better than Mchale through out his career with less talent. When Adelman did have talent he produced some of the best offenses in NBA history. Mchale had done absolutely nothing and cannot coach a half court offense if his life depended on it.
Adelman was great, the second Morey would try to implement his bs philosophy Adelman would tell him to go back to his calculator.
DM really needs to go out and get a GOOD coach, he has gotten rid of JVG and RA, both are way better than McHale. Now that we have a better roster, let's get some better coaching too. DD
LOL I think someone doesn't understand how the feedback button works. Someone repped me and commented that I'm a Lin only fan. Who ever you are...
Grass is always greener... When we had adelman people were calling for him to be fired too. Cmon guys
Because playing for a legendary big man was attractive for Dwight. I guarantee we had this in mind when we hired McHale.
team didn't offer Adelman an extension and he was slighted by that especially since he helped them overacheive every season. Then there was also crap about Morey wanting to pull the strings and the coach being a puppet. That was it for Adelman and he left.
Adelman had a tendency to play players that shouldnt have been playing. I would imagine TJones, Parsons even Lin and D-Mo wouldnt have been as good as they are now. The Twolves are awful despite having 2 of the best front court players in the league.
