If Lin isn't the 2nd or 3rd option on his own team, why should he be an all star? I gave a ballpark range. Obviously one or two assists lower would still qualify. So if Lin is playing at an all star level, who should he make the team over? Parker? Curry? Lillard? Harden? CP3? Westbrook? If Lin is playing at an all star level, what are these guys playing at?
So if one or two assists lower would still qualify then Lin is an all star after all he is averaging 5 assists per 36 minutes. Those guys are also playing at all star level. There is a difference between arguing who is the superior player and who is an all star. Just because I believe Lin is an all star doesnt make Curry any less of an all star or doesn't make Curry the superior talent. It just means that if Lin was selected into the ASG it isn't some egregious error because he has been playing at a high level. He isn't more deserving than Curry and Harden and CP3 but it doesn't mean that he hasn't been playing at an all star level and is unworthy of an all star nod per Morey's standards. Maybe you should take this up with Morey cause he is the guy who said it not me.
All the talk about Lin of course he's no allstar But I think harden doesn't make it this year if Kobe & Westbrook were healthy 1.Cp3 -votes 2.kobe -votes 3.curry 4.westbrook 5.lillard
He will only make it on popularity because the coaches will not vote him in with his play over last 2 months. He is playing worse than Monte Ellis
Harden's PER is 2.4 points higher than Monta, and he hasn't even begun to play well yet. Good for us.
I think coaches vote for the players that are not starters The starting 5 are fans votes, that's why I had Kobe & cp3 1&2 they have the 2 top votes out of the guards
Sure, get me Morey on the line quick! The guy was tweeting Omer Asik #NBABallot for Christ's sake. Of course he is going to support his players. Obviously you aren't going to change your mind, I just hope you understand that most people around the NBA wouldn't say that Lin is playing at an "all star level" this year. Usually people have higher standards for that. There are a ton of guards averaging 14/3/4 right now.
Does Lin deserve to be an "all-star"? NO. Should Rocket fans get all indignant if he makes it? No. End of discussion.
Didn't Lin say last year that he was glad he wasn't voted in? He could have been just saying that but I believe it. It'd be an awkward experience for him starting over CP3.
Why do you worry so much? You can vote Jeremy in and sell him for a better price, which is still good for Rockets. Just vote for all Rockets!
Right! Here is a reminder for those who do not like Lin - If somehow Lin is voted in, you can sell him for better price, or he may bringing in more money for Les, so he will be more willing to pay lux tax  so you should thank those people who voted him, or you may try to vote him too
WUT? screw PER lol look at his shooting % shot selection, and even the eye test . He is now known as a ballstopper in the nba like Rudy Gay and constantly gets roasted by many for his shot selection and defense. Tonight during last shot of the 1st quarter get ready for that contested stepback 3 that happens 99.9% of the time. Freethrows inflating his stats smh
Harden TS% - 59% Monta TS% - 54% Kobe Bryant TS% 50% (or if you believe you need a healthy season 57% last year) Definition: TS% = {PTS * 100}/{(2 * (FGA + 0.44 * FTA)) } What I see is the best SG in the game taking the ball to the rim drawing contact and getting FT. I don't know what you're looking at.
Idk watching Lin play would be more entertaining than CP3. Lol, all five of our starter are allstar material.
