Less Harden ISO, more Asik post-up.

Omer shot 7-10; Harden went 4-12. According to my calculations, 70% > 33%

Therefore, Harden should defer to Asik. Had Harden passed to Asik instead of taking those 12 field goal attempts, Asik would have had 30 points.

It's time to trade Harden for Terrence Williams and feature Asik.

If he is going to play that horribly selfish ISO ball, piling into defenders trying to draw foul, holding the ball all the time, dribble, dribble, dribble stuff, and never play defense.........

Then yeah. They are much better off without him. However, if he keeps playing that way, he might end up being the most impossible to trade player in the entire NBA, considering his contract.

No team in the league would want to trade for an old washed up player like Harden already.

The answer to the thread is yes if you replace him with:

    Lebron James
    Kevin Durant
    Carmelo Anthony
    Kobe Bryant (if healthy)
    Derrick Rose (if healthy)
    Chris Paul
    Stephen Curry
and I would have to think really hard about Paul George

Otherwise, don't be stupid. Of course this team is better with Harden, if he is playing to his ability.

It is true we should trade harden for melo. Melo is younger and a better teammate. Look how Denver was crippled after he left!

Pretty much. Looks like Denver will lose in the 1st round while melo will get to ECF.

1.pacers are now struggling against hawks, they sorely need granger's scoring.
My point is that rocets can be good without harden, but they will better with him, provided he start stop isoing and start playing defense

We aren't better without him, but when he is creating turnovers, shooting bricks, yes we are better.

His zero defense is what we have to live with, but when his offense is sucking too he's a detriment to the team.

Rockets should have gotten the 6th or 7th seed had Harden not returned for the last several games.

The only reason Rockets won last night is because Fisher draw Harden's 5-th foul, which sent Harden to the bench. Rockets maintained the lead with Harden on the bench, but as soon as he returned, Rockets lead evaporated quickly.

Harden is banged up. He and Lin should rest the next game, and if we are lucky to win they can probably come back full strength in game 6&7.

The only players I would trade Harden for are

    LBJ
    KD
    Paul

No way to others especially Curry and Melo

lol it blows my mind some people actually think we could even be a .500 team without harden. lol yeah he's screwed up some but we wouldn't be near playoff position right now if it wasnt for harden.
