I was there for 3 games but couldn't meet up on sat night at the resturant due to the friends I was with choosing women over clutchfans fellowship. Understandable, but painful cause I really missed an opportunity to meet a lot of these BBS legends face to face, including clutch. HP gave me every opportunity too, making several calls to keep me in the loop. My overall lack of sobriety didn't help matters either. Next year I'm gonna have my sh#t together. Props to rocket girl for the blog and being a super awesome rockets fan.
Man, that was a fun trip. The 1st time I went to Vegas for my 21st birthday, I didn't like it and didn't plan on going back. But this time got me hooked. It was great hanging out with y'all again and great meeting Kwame, Carl, and even YoYo's laker friends. I rep Kwame every chance I get. Dude was so cool and was down for absolutely anything. The only disappointment, for me, was Fatburger. What the heck happened to that place? I'll be back next year, and I wouldn't mind going for New Years to party with Kwame.
Yeah. They changed the menu names, and the maybe I just hyped it up in my head the last few years but it just wasn't as great as I remembered it. Plus, it was like $13 for a single patty 1/4 lb burger with fries and a drink.
Everything in Vegas has gotten more expensive. No longer the value it used to be. Everything is airport prices now.
You too! It was nice meeting a real life Clutchfan in person and sharing stories. Hopefully I'll be able to make it out to future Clutchfans gatherings and meet more people from here.
Great read... I need to go next year! - the Bayless restaurant and definitely + the pool parties
Great writeup. I've never been to Vegas, so I really appreciated your description of the atmosphere of the place. Makes we want to go next year!
Yep. And she actually looks cuter in person. Her bag is in the way in that picture. I liked her better than Gogi's gf....plus, she was just plain good folk.
Haha ... that chop came out great looking like a mask. Someone is going to make McKayla masks for Halloween this year. you know it. Even the cheap ones on a stick handle that you hold in front of your face would be awesome.
one funny story I had to share the first time we went to Thomas and Mack, when we met up with Clutch/Carl near the media section, I mentioned to Clutch about how Rich Cho was in front of us saying hi to his former colleagues with the Blazers. Clutch asked "Did you tell him how much he messed up the draft for everybody?" so true....
