Yeah, we have weekly video conferences with Clutch to decide on such matters as banning people and taking away thread starting privileges from noobs. Just kidding. The truth is I've only met these guys in Vegas. Kwame, Yoyo and I met during the 2009 Summer League and again this year. I met Dave2000, Ricksmith, Clutch, heypartner and Rocketgirl for the first time this July. Was fun, though.
Kwame and heypartner is not amused..... Those guys are party animals and couldn't keep up It was my second go around for Summer League and its a hell of a good time. Ricksmith and I already planning for next year, and hope we'll get a bigger group Shoutout to Kwame, a bunch of y'all may hate him, but he's a class act in person, definite true Houstonian hospitality. Good read RG, was curious what went on the other 2 days I wasn't there.
Haha from reading your stories about Vegas, it reminds me of my first trip there in December. I took my girlfriend ( who was 20 at the time, but still insisted on going ) and her friends ( who were also still 20 ) too. It's awesome you got to interact with so many players, I interact with JVG all the time when he stops by the restaurant I work at. Pretty funny guy, just wished we could've worked out our differences with him, oh well. And look at it this way, just because you only lost $3.70 is better than losing 15 grand ( an amount my friends Ex-BF lost when he went), I can say I'm up 60 bucks from Vegas in Blackjack though ). Super jealous, wish I could've met Parson and Patterson, they seem like really good characters.

I'm always amazed how Rocketgirl manages to get photos with all the coaches and players. Vegas Summer League was a lot of fun, and I'll second it that Kwame is a great guy -- fun to hang out with and he showed us around to a lot of places in Vegas.
Very jealous. I hope you keep this blog updated through your internship, would be very interested to hear about the inner workings of the organization. Well, however much you can divulge anyways.
Thanks for posting RG. Sounds like a great trip. Next year, I plan on going and hopefully meeting up with the CF crew. -Also side note- This upcoming season, we all need to establish a good happy hour spot for pre-game drinks.
Thanks for the positive feedback everyone! I'd like to continue blogging through this semester, but I might have to find other topics other than my actual internship. We'll see what I can get approved. However, I'd really like to do a summary of my internship blog post in Dec or Jan if the Rockets will let me. Hopefully come January, I can return to Rowdies related blog posts. It was nice meeting you yesterday btw.
