Curry. When my mom used to cook it just the smell gave me a headache. One night in high school, I came home starving (if you know what I mean) and the left over curry looked delicious. I've loved it ever since.
I used to really hate eggplant as a kid and now I like things like Mousaka and eggplant in black bean sauce. I used to hate the music of the Cure but now don't mind them so much.
Sushi rolls. I remember when I tried my first one I couldn't even swallow it but now I could eat tuna rolls all day long!
Mushrooms, cilantro, tomatoes. I used to like, but now hate: potato chips, cheetos, etc, and most fast food.
Chocolate cake. Now I just dislike bad chocolate cake which must have been what I was experiencing as a child. Also semi-sweet chocolate, hot sauce, mineral water, zucchini and Brussels sprouts I loved food growing up and still do. BUT there are a number of foods I used to enjoy that make me feel a bit sick now such as: Macaroni and Cheese from a box Anything from the bakery department of most grocery stores Preservative laden "snack cakes" Milk chocolate American cheese Fast food in general
