He hasn't exactly been very productive this season...

From what I've seen from him lately, he doesn't really fit this team.

Scola > Landry. And like others have said, no point in bringing back Landry if we still have Scola. Hill is a better rebounder.

    meh. no point.

Not sure how he would fit with the team. Playing him with Miller in the second unit frontcourt could pose defensive problems, but the offensive possibilities would be interesting.

Anyway, if the Rockets are grooming Patterson, it wouldn't make sense to trade away players/picks for Landry at this point.

yes they have had trouble closing games out obviously in the fourth quarter. you have to score more points than the other team to win, what a concept.

I believe this team is averaging more than 100 pts a game, putting the ball in the hole isn't an issue for us.

Its stopping the other team from doing the same

Worst case scenario is we keep him (Landry) on the bench - maybe bringing him back will make Brooks happier and more productive.

Way I see it is that Yao is not reliable (health wise), Miller is not reliable (basketball wise), and Hill is not reliable (experience wise) - should be enough minutes if he can earn them

Yay now we can pretend Carl Landry and Scola are one person again!

    Whats that? They are not?

Only so many minutes to go around, besides Landry does not help our rebounding and defensive woes.

ok, for example the other night in chicago they score 4 points in the last three and half minutes of regulation. the points they score a game is 105 which is 5th in the NBA, and the possessions they have is 99 which is 5th in the nba.

Yea, the Lakers, Celtics, Spurs and Pistons won championships by focusing on scoring as many points as possible.

    Think of it this way.

I have 2 lollies, you have 2 lollies, if I go down to the store and buy 2 more lollies that means i will have more than you, you are upset, you want as many as i have but you can't find the store. But if you prevented me from going to the store, even though you didn't know where the store was we would still have the same number of lollies.

i said scoring more than the other team. so i hope they win by scoring 85 points a game. do you want them to walk the ball up the court like the bobcats, and disguise themselves as a good defensive team? they are going to win more games by scoring rather than wearing down offensive players like martin by forcing them to play defense.

It is easier to outscore the opponent if you can stop them from scoring, this has been the Rocket's problem this year.

I haven't been keeping up with Landry since he went to the Kings.

Has he developed a consistent jump shot? If so, he could start at the 3 for us.

nope. His shot is not as efficient an has struggled with defense and rebounding as well. So much that he's not even starting for them anymore.

I agree - he's athletic enough to guard 3's. I would consider trading Patterson to get a "known commodity" back. To me, Landry makes Patterson redundant.

C'mon people. Kings aren't trading Cousins unless they get something amazing in return. We don't have anything amazing to offer.

We have more than enough young players that a rebuilding team like SAC would love to have.
