I can just see the next time one of you jokers runs into Chuck while he's eating and being like: WTF? you're not gonna pay for my food? I heard any time you run into a fan you buy them lunch.

Cool story though, I saw him and Head at 702 one night, it was when they were both rookies so I just gave them a little what's up to let them know I knew who they were, they seem like really nice guys.

    Another Chuck Hayes Sighting....

I went for a walk during my lunch break in the Galleria. While walking I see Chuck Hayes in a red shirt and black shorts casually walking on the opposite side of the mall.

I yelled "Chuck Hayes" and raised my fist. He turned around and raised his fist and then continued with his walk.

Sorry, no pics but it was a cool experience

That's probably cool with Chuck Hayes. I wouldn't reccomend that course fo action if you see Artest in the Galleria

That was a key point to me for whatever reason. If it was
"I met Chuck Hayes at Krispy Kreme Donuts"
"Hayes was walking out the grocery with a gallon of Blue Bell"
it would have diminished the story some.

    That sounds like Bouncy Whales.

How about if you were down in Acre Homes, buying some herbs, and saw Mo Taylor! He paid for your herbs and got a 1lb for himself.

Footlong Turkey with 2 Chocolate Chip Cookies...

    I'm eatin Fresh Chuck

This story reminds me a long time ago when I met Cuttino Mobley in the Galleria right after he was drafted and befored he played a game for the Rocks. He had taken Rhode Island pretty far that year in the NCAA's so I recognized him and he was stoked that I recognized him, you could tell he was new to Houston. I didn't have a Camera (Camera phones weren't that common back then) But he did chat with me for a while and was really down to earth and appreciative of his fans.
