    We pwn3d.

    :D Great game.

Tracy McGrady was on fire!! What a great player - and most of his turnovers are passes to big man that couldn't catch the ball. It's not his fault. He had 37pts and 8 rebound... what a game.

If you don't like this game... you don't like Houston Rocket Basketball.

Tmac did a great job of conserving his energy throughout the first 3 quarters tonight... at times, he looked like he was walking up and down the court (and I was wondering if the cold was effecting his back), but clearly he was simply saving it when the team needed it the most.

Also... it helps when your defensive assignment is the most useless/overrated player in the history of the NBA. Bruce freakin Bowen.

The difference between last win in San Antonio with this one:

    • Yao Ming was there; TMAC was not vs TMAC was playing while Yao Ming was not.
    • Yao Ming set the pace in 1H and gave a huge lead for the Rockets vs Tracy McGrady closed the win with consecutive points in late 4Q.
    • The role players all contributed great team effort for the win.

So when Yao Ming comes back, Yao Ming + Tracy McGrady will rip the Spurs apart !!! :D :D :D

I really want Dallas at some point in the playoffs. Hopefully in the WCF. I want revenge for 2 yrs ago. We saw how we could stay with them in Dallas for 3.5 qtrs w/o Yao and even get a big lead on them, with Yao, these are even teams, and it would be a battle for the ages.

What the heck do you know?

    Just kidding !!!!!!

    Sorry for getting pissed !

But it is a great point about Bowen...Tmac can coast on defense.....which may be why the Rockets match up well with the Spurs but the teams that force Tmac to play both ends......cause the Rockets problems.

Also.....resting TMac....as suggested by some people here with Bonzi was a great move.

    Still....a great win tonight...totally unexpected.

I'm obviously glad we won, but this was a great game, period. The Spurs' defensive rotations are incredible and the Rockets defense is just as good. Very similar teams defensively. A lot of fun to watch and even moreso since we won.

36 minutes for tmac, those would be optimal minutes for him! bonzi, keep on playing!

Heh I think V-Span needs to start in this league.

After all, he was Tracy McGrady back home.

And we need to draft Vince Young to play for us as well.

You are kidding right....that is what this board is all about......just ask me about Dan Langhi !

I am happy for Bonzi, but I don't think he would fit with Yao on the court unless Yao goes to the high post.

Great job by the role players in extending the lead and give T-Mac extra rest to keep them at bay when the eventual run of pure bull**** came in the final 3min.

That tear drop was so good it's probably an ESPN top play nominee.

If only the remaining 80% of his tear drops could be like that.
