Polls don't mean much to me. They're as entertaining as ESPN Power Rankings and only calibrate a message that nothing is set in stone.

Even if Trump loses, Dems still lose if they can't retake the Senate.

The question you should care about is how Biden will get Dems and independents on board. He still has a veep decision without many slam dunk "big tent" choices.

That seems to be something the media has avoided just like uhh...4 years ago when polls were indicating a 90% chance of victory.

The media talks about his VP choice every day in some context and the media has never avoided the fact that the polls were wrong and its why everybody continues to act like Trump has some mystical power.

This is concerning.

 

Given Maine's propensity to elect independents if Susan Collins had voted to remove Trump from office and left the party she might've had a better chance to win.

 

Knowing the serious side of Susan Collins, I would bet good money that she is concerned about this report.
