    Trouble is, most of the protesters are prolly from the CHAZ in Seattle so they don't give a rat's azz.
    Meanwhile, Portlanders who love their city have to hope LE can put this shyt down and preserve their city.

    So why would a guy from Texas go to Portland to protest for Black Lives Matter
    when he could do so in Texas where there's a lot of Black people who need local support?

    Lots of room to protest in Houston or Austin or Dallas.

    I think Germany has more Black people than Portland.
    Did he just want to be around his fellow white protesters?

    Can't he just to College Station and protest?

    Gaines stated he is homeless, according to court documents. The Department of Justice stated Gaines is from Texas and currently living in an RV in Portland.
