Anyone could rewind backwards from that point to get as much context as they wish. If the linked video just started from the beginning, then my bad. Well, no ****, since they believed the coronavirus was much more serious than he was letting on, of course they would be unhappy with his response. And the rest of his words between that point and him saying "this is their new hoax" also says nothing about how the Democrats are supposedly "politicizing" the coronavirus. So your quote, I'm afraid, does not provide nearly as much information as you are pretending. Only C-SPAN showed Monday’s entire press conference, which went well beyond two hours. Fox News showed a little more than two hours before going to Tucker Carlson. CNN and MSNBC showed most of the first 90 minutes before cutting out. The major networks — NBC, ABC, CBS — showed none of it.
When all you have left is insults.... amirite? Also no... you selectively left out the part where he downplayed the virus in other ways by comparing to the flu, etc. You left that out for a reason. Because that is essentially the same thing as calling it a hoax so it proves the point that he knew the seriousness of this tsunami coming, and manipulated his ignorant cult followers into believing its not a big deal... which in turn has made this virus worse because of the lack of seriousness America gave to it that allowed it to jump start community spread.
