The silver lining of this is hopefully as a country we begin to better understand the problems of not having single payer healthcare and the idiotic let’s all drive an hour + to work just so we can have butts in seats that putter on the internet and gossip half the day. Friend of mine who is a citizen but didn’t grow up here asked me if they begin to show symptoms which is the designated hospital. I explained that people in the US have to go to whatever hospital their insurance allows them to. My friend just shook his head and laughed.
For your info- we’ve been doing grocery delivery for over a year and usually my wife just orders the night before. She checked yesterday and got the last slot for Sunday delivery.

My band has a show tonight at an Irish Pub for the leadup to St. Patrick's day. We're still planning on playing it if the venue doesn't cancel. I'm not promoting it though and am not expecting much of a crowd. Our St. Patrick's day show at a larger venue got cancelled and so did Minneapolis and St. Paul St. Patrick's Day Parades.
They are here...poor guys, they are just as paranoid and scared as all of us. I've mini quarantined the baby and grandma until they leave and I can wipe that part of the house down
Having a hard chronic disease and a weakend immune system makes me stay in a self quarantine most of the time. Just waiting right now to the moment that things would get better, luckily i had an important test and medical producere done last month so i dont have to worry about that.
My sister married into an Irish family. They’ll be celebrating together no matter what the government says.
Stopped going to the gym .. i feel gross. Might take up running. Or I could workout like Rocky when he went to Russia .. lifting rocks, cutting down trees.
I’ve now made 1 change...I’m not going to the gym for the next few weeks...too many dumb, dirty mofos there this was the push I needed to finally get to work on a little home gym for myself...bought a bench and many dumbbells the other day...they should be coming in soon
Let me know how it goes. I'm planning to keep on cycling, mountain and road. Get some alone time, work on that cardio while I'm taking a bit of a break from the Y. Bummed about the Tour De Houston postponement this weekend.
