Can he still able to play this season? I think his situation like nene have to sit over season? If he can still play and MDA will use him, we can sign him.

"Is Cousins the missing piece?" said the Big 3 team captain.

I would love to have kawhi leonard in this system is the perfect fit for it. Long arms big hands and terrific defense. I would trade the beard for kawhi leonard and it would upgrade this line up majorly.

Is this a troll or is this serious? On the one hand this thread is so mind bogglingly stupid that is must be a troll. On the other hand, this is a guy who thinks Kenneth Faried is a good player who should still be in the NBA. Maybe the Faried fandom is part of the troll? It's impossible to know.

Rockets are 7-2 in last 9 games with 1 loss coming against PHX where Russ did not play and buzzer-beater against Jazz. 7 wins Rockets have won by average 11-12 points difference. Combination of Tucker and Covington playing some stifling defense if you watched the last few games with them in the lineup. Russ playing like a solid superstar since Capella is out and making scoring look easy and it seems finally Rockets do not have to depend on Harden scoring 40-50 points to win games. If you watched last few games since Capella trade, Rockets are getting a lot of wide-open looks from 3's. Optimistic observation is not based on just last night's win but assessing games throughout the season and watching Rockets evolve to the current stage. Is this going to win a championship? No one knows but then again you can't count them out either.

Besides, Cousins has barely played the last few years for you to assume that he is the missing piece that Rockets need.

I’d actually sign him right now to a multi year deal for the cheap right now.

I think he can help us if he’s okay not being a starter and just being a depth rotation guy. He can space the floor playmake and while he’s not a great defender he can rebound and clog the paint in times of need.

to me it’s a no brainer to grab him for the cheap and see if he can help the team next year.

not a great defender is a huge understatement...Boogie is immobile on defense after these injuries...he’s a statue, a gargoyle on that end of the floor

he will slow down our pace as he plods up and down the floor

Disagree, his defense on the perimeter along with James and Russ would be a nightmare. Yes, he would give a us an inside presence. However, we have publicly stated that we don't want or need a big man presence.

I liked the idea of his 3 ball and 2 man game with Russ in the midrange. I dislike the idea of his perimeter defense even more.
