I don't see the point in blaming the U.S. or their policies for Iran's hostility to the western world. You could make the argument that the Iranian Shia militia groups in Iraq were bolstered by Obama's decision to withdraw. I'm not going to make the argument because Iran has always used their proxies for terror and murder. The blame lies with Iran.
This. Drone strikes should only be used for an all out, complete war. If there is any concern about friendly relations with the government or citizens of the nation, then do not use them. Everyone knew the outcome of invading Iraq and it has come to pass. It is an absolute black mark on the Bush administration, all the Democratic and Republican politicians that supported the invasion and the USA as a whole. The only people that profited off this are those involved in the war industries. We lost soldiers, millions of Iraq citizens and made an unstable region of the world even more unstable. All with ZERO justification.
Trump is entirely too connected to the Saudi's and should not be leasing out our soldiers to them or selling them arms. There is no clear objective or doctrine for Trump in the Middle East. At least Bush and Obama had that. As it is, the handling of the Middle East over the last 20 years (especially) has been horrific. The policy will greatly change again if we get another President. It is possible to have strong influence in a region without attacking it (Iraq/Afghanistan), supporting a revolution and then back out of tangible help (Syria/Libya). To be quite frank, short of a nuclear war we really could not screw it up much more than we have. Rather than spending the money on military strikes and a ground war; spend the money building an infrastructure and a sphere of influence through mutually beneficial dealings. Nope....... that isn't extreme enough for the USA.
Iraqis shi'a protesters burned the Iranian consulate in Basra last month and forced pro- Iranian's PM to resign ,Iranian militants attempted to burn the American embassy to create a distraction
It must be convenient to miss the fact that Trump bombed Iraq and killed dozens ........ Was it just fake news or was Trump a part of Iran distraction scheme?
Qasim Sulimani who's responsible for the bloodshed of hundreds of thousands Syrians is gone .... thank you Mr.Trump
Trump: Tehran will pay a 'big price' for Hezbollah's assault on the American embassy in Baghdad Ayatollah: "You can't do a damn thing!" Trump: Hold my big mac....
Why was he in Iraq? Did he have a legitimate purpose or was he there to orchestrate nefarious activities?
