    He'll put up points, while shooting 40% from the field, and contributing little else to the game. He is what he is.

    he doesn't. so do a number of other players. he sucks that's all that matters. you can continue to be excited for him but don't get upset when others continue to point out he's just not any good at this point.

    yup. the league felt sorry for him. its a gimmick story for him, especially when harden went nuts in that same span. he's back to normal now. sucking

    Where was this outpouring of support for Carmelo from the national media when we signed him? I'm fairly sure that the narrative was that he was washed and it wouldn't work, and then suddenly we were the assholes for cutting him after 10 games after he showed that in fact he was washed and it wouldn't have worked.

    It was a bad situation for him in Houston, mentally.

    I dun think his team around him, his agents really thought he would be out of the league.

    It's just the mental fatigue, that wore him down.

    Some teams didn't employ him because they were in the middle of the season, in the middle of fighting for a playoff spot and so on.

    They gave it to him because of pity. He had good games, but nothing that deserves a player of the week award lol. That was straight up NBA feeding some stupid story line of a has-been that had been collecting sympathy from the media because the mean ole Rockets vanished him from the roster due to not being good enough.
