I think he would have been better served just giving a nothing answer. For example... "I don't know enough about the issue to really talk about it..." Instead of basically saying someone else doesn't know. I'm not mad that it took a week, I wouldn't want to say anything about China while in China either, even if I'm Lebron, but he has to give a better answer than to go after Morey which is what the government of China wants. I'm also 90% sure just based on these comments that he's the one that was meeting with Silver and other players leading the charge for Morey to be 'disciplined' because that's what this is really about in the end. Had the Rockets fired Morey after those comments China wouldn't have fussed so much about it.
