Ita just crazy how a guy cam make a great play on D and then comes up to bat in the next inning and does something
the biggest issue i have w the lineup hinch is trotting out there is that he's hanging miley out to dry defensively. i've counted at least 3 or 4 defensive mistakes that likely cost miley outs and potentially runs. i get the need to rest players but that shouldn't come close to outweighing the need to get miley pitching well again in his last start before the playoffs.
Good to see Peacock out there and with a 1-2-3 inning to boot. Maybe, after a couple seasons of less impact, it's time for Playoff Peacock again. We can all hope.
I know Toro-Hernandez has done well in the minors, and of course we'll never forget his homer in JV's no-hitter, but I think he's a AAAA player at worst, utility bench guy at best. Wouldn't be comfortable handing him 3B full time. Just my thoughts.
Astros likely going to win the GIDP crown this year. Won't be the all-time record, but there's always next year.
