I actually saw something like this as a kid and my dad recorded it. We used to live on Clay near Fry Road and there was a big field behind us where there were no houses. One night it rained and there was a lightning storm. There was an object in the sky that would move erratically. It looked like single light from a plane or something and initially we thought it was a star but it began to move in different directions and sporadically. It would stop on a dime then move in a different direction entirely. It did this for a few minutes before disappearing. We actually recorded it on an old VHS tape and didn't think much of it. Gonna look for that tape.
