He could almost dunk or dunk the ball!
Wait, he is only 5'7"!!! Does he have mad hops or those are not regulation baskets. I am 6' and I was never close to being able to dunk the ball.

Or really any other candidates— there aren’t any real socialists running, as luck would have it.

The Democrats engaged in virtually no discussion of the economy last night. One may wonder what former Bill Clinton campaign strategist James Carville - who famously summed up the most important issue for the election as "It's the economy, stupid" - might think about this apparent oversight.

In Third Debate, Democrats Steer Clear of Economy

In the last few weeks, Democratic presidential candidates have focused on fears of a recession, accusing President Trump of recklessness in handling the nation's economic affairs. So on Thursday, at the Democratic Party's first one-night presidential debate, the first opportunity to showcase the party's 10 leading candidates, what role did the nation's widespread economic anxieties play?

Almost none. The candidates simply didn't talk about it. (Nor did the ABC News moderators ask.) The word "recession" was uttered just once in the entire debate. (By Julián Castro, who noted the poll's finding of recession fears.) Nor was the word "unemployment" ever spoken. Nor was there a discussion of job creation. Nor was there much of a discussion of wages.

On the government side, no one, moderator or candidate, said the word "deficit." No one discussed the mismatch between the federal government's revenues and its spending. No one talked about the national debt. There was talk about the president's tariffs, but beyond that, there wasn't much talk of the economy at all.

Thursday, as in June, the relative Democratic silence on the economy might be taken as a concession to the president. The candidates didn't even try to argue that the economy is terrible. Nobody would buy it.

Harry Reid is sounding the alarm, warning that not only can Trump win the 2020 presidential election, he will not be easily defeated.

Harry Reid warns Trump 'can be reelected'

Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) warned an audience Thursday that critics of President Trump are "wrong" if they believe he doesn't stand a chance of being reelected in 2020. During a panel discussion at University of Nevada-Las Vegas, Reid warned that Trump had "intimidated" Republicans on Capitol Hill, according to The Nevada Independent.

“I'm pretty damn worried,” he said last month. “Anybody that thinks he's going to be beaten easily is wrong. As sad as it is. As hard as it is for me to say this: Don’t count that man out.”

They had a long discussion about trade. Pretty sure that’s about the economy.

Lol, I wouldn't vote for Trump even if I knew Houston's economy hung in the balance.

I would rather have a racist idiot than someone who's out to get Houston as the president.

    1. Biden
    2. Trump
    3. Sanders
    4. Warren

I guess we could still follow the Rockets when they move to Vegas or Vancouver because Tillman is losing too much money and needs to sell. It will not be as fun watching the Astros either when they lose all of their players because they can't support a high payroll.

That's a shame because there's much more wrong with Trump than just being a racist idiot. But everyone has to make their own choices.

Joe Biden has come out against the Supreme Court's Heller ruling, which gives individuals the right to keep and bear arms. Of course the other candidates will now be asked about this too. If Biden is against it, which of these candidates could possibly be for it.

Joe Biden Comes Out Against Heller Ruling - The Individual Right to Keep and Bear Arms

During a town hall style interview with WMUR 9 Friday, former Vice President and 2020 Democrat Presidential Candidate Joe Biden came out against the Supreme Court's ruling on District of Columbia v. Heller.

“Do you agree with the DC vs Heller decision in regards to protecting the individual right to bear arms that are in common use and which are utilized for lawful purposes?” Biden was asked.

“The answer is," Biden said. "If I were on the Court I wouldn’t make the same ruling. Okay?"

The Heller ruling, which was decided 5-4, confirmed the individual right to keep and bear arms is protected by the Second Amendment.

The Democrats want to confiscate your guns. Period.

Opposing a certain interpretation the second amendment isn't really at all the same thing as confiscating your guns. The second amendment and the SC decisions on how it's interpreted has made even minor efforts to put some regulation on how guns are bought and maintained pretty much impossible. It's not surprising that politicians that would like to allow regulated gun ownership would be annoyed that the court decisions are such that pretty much any legislation they pass is going to run into a buzzsaw in the courts. People just want to be able to take back control over how this industry is run.
