You wanna know why ESPN ignores 23-2? Because the Astros lose to the worst teams in baseball when heavy favorites. Those losses get the publicity because they think the Astros are frauds. Leave 30 HR, 100 RBI (almost) in the Minors...when you have a guy doing Nothing (Reddick) on this team.

I get being upset, but it happens. They’re one of the worst teams in baseball but they’re still gonna win one every once in a while. Just like the Astros are going to lose games every once in a while against a team far inferior to them. It’s baseball. It happens.

This is a good loss. If this happened in Sept, they will never get to redeem it. This game it hurts, but it is only a regular season game. Betting on baseball, or hockey are the hardest games to bet. It doesn't surprise me on the outcome only that Tigers are a really bad team with Miggy.

This is the same guy that made threads calling the Astros chokers and laughing about it hours before winning a World Series.

He also posted about the demise of the Astros after the second series of this season.

Mind you, doing all of this while blindly defending the Texans.

You know how many teams would kill to have the 1-5 Hinch put out there today? Add in Chirino’s 4-4 performance and we should’ve had 6 quality hitters in the lineup. That’s more than enough to beat the worst team in baseball. Or it should’ve been.

Astros already called up the better hitter in Mayfield. Maybe they don't think Tucker is ready for MLB pitching?

    Stats in AAA:
    Jake Mayfield
    .298 AVG
    25 HR
    .962 OPS

    Kyle Tucker
    .265 AVG
    32 HR
    .907 OPS

Or maybe they need somebody well versed on infield defense.

    Keep rolling Reddick out there.......

    Straw over Tucker?

Of course Tucker is the better prospect because of age, but he doesn't appear to be the better hitter now. I think he's going to get over matched again if he gets called up.

Straw has elite speed and can also play OF and has played some SS.

He's in the running...against himself. I know there's a poster that proudly puts in his signature that he's the worst poster on Clutchfans but he's on ignore.

LOL..attack me if u want, don’t address the issue at hand with the Astros. This “greatest lineup in history” is not hitting. They are dumb on the base paths. Keep rolling out Reddick and his 0 production. They don’t need a Miles Straw up (Mayfield is Correa’s sub), they need an RBI guy in the lineup (Tucker).

You can take Chirinos out of the Rangers but you cant take the Ranger out of Chirinos. :)

And why is it dumb? There is a whole thread whining about the lack of attention. Well, they have the attention they didnt want for 2 games in 10 days where they suffered historically “humiliating” loses (according to ESPN).
