Very frustrating. Over the last three years, when we have been in a position to grab the top seed, we go on these stupid losing stretches where the Astros turn into the Bad News Bears.
Best team in Baseball doesn't loose 3 of 4 games to the White Sox and Orioles.....then lose 3 more games to their division rival.
Yankees and Dodgers are both 4 games ahead of the Astros. Those are the best teams in baseball.......by record.
Hinch called this an important series coming in. And, it's been a huge bust. Has he been saying anything lately?
Wow. Been worried about catching the yanks for home field in the lcs. Need to be worried about home field in the divisional series. We are essentially only 1 game ahead of the twins in the loss column. Since they won the season series we have to lose 1 less game than them. 5 ahead of the Indians. At this point we need the Yankees to lose 4 games more than us and they only have 37 left. Looking a bit grim for home field in the lcs (if we win the lds. ) So yea. Stop f’ing around Astros.
Might be but damn sure isn't translating to the field on this road trip.Went .500 in 6 games against 2 of the biggest stiffs in MLB. 0-3 to the A's.
Astros are in the conversation with the Dodgers and Yankees. Great baseball teams tend to lose 60 games a year and many of those are to mediocre or bad teams. You’re watching the wrong sport.
Diaz probably will be fine, but when you have team physicians, and you still go to the hospital, that's serious. It's probably more than just needing some carbs. Serious dehydration would likely come with some additional symptoms.
