True. As great as trout is I can’t give mvp to a man that missed the playoffs.

I really think their bullpen is going to be spent by the post season. Boone seems to pitch Ottavino, Britton and Chapman every game

I think it very much was an error. I'd also hope that we'd realize with Zachs softer stuff it's easier to beat the shifts

Greinke got the W, but he sounded like the losing pitcher for tonight's game.

Greinke wasn't on his game tonight, but he still should have had a much better line.

Defensive miscues, past balls, and softly hit singles. Fortunately the offense more than picked up the slack.

I usually have the post game show on in the background. I sometimes transcribe quotes in here. Does this mean that if I get a Twitter account and do it there before these guys, I'm a bonafide sports journalist?

Maybe if I do it enough, I can get a vote for NBA MVP; the threshold to get one of those seems to be spectacularly low.

They're both beat writers, they don't just tweet.

The beat writer is often not much more than a glorified publicist, but they still have a degree, travel around the country, write articles and have access to the team. It's a job you work up to just like any other.

One could argue the standard for journalism in general is low these days, but they aren't guys tweeting from their bedroom.
