Smart is prob a more realistic return than Brown. And I’d love to have Holmes as well.

They need a scorer but their defense is going to be top notch. J-rich is a dog.

whatever scoring they lost can absolutely be made up by their additions who can both shoot and embiid, simmons, harris not becoming complacent, which they shouldn't. not only this, they got much better defensively and the lineup is much more balanced with guys who don't mind the intangibles. peopel keep forgetting once the playoffs come around, reddick isn't exactly that good. philly will be right back up there competing for the best in the east just like they did this year

CP3/Harden/EGO/Tucker/Capela currently with a bench of Hartenstein/Green/House/Clark. That’s really really thin, don’t see them competing as we currently stand, especially given the age of our top players. Wasting $$ on House less than ideal IMO, would have preferred to just give those minutes to Clark. Need at least 2 more legit rotation guys before I feel good going to battle in 2019/2020.

Folks spent the days leading up to the draft saying how Harden has no help and we need a true second star, but now its "we're better off without Jimmy"? What were all those Butler threads about then?

oh yeah no warriors, totally can win the championship, I mean LeBron and Anthony Davis aren't debatably the 2 most consistent night in and night out players in the NBA or anything, and they have kuzma....oh yeah and 32 mil to spend....totally not as scary as steph and klay....if we play perfect, sure we can win, but when have we played that good? the game 7 series vs golden state? that chris paul is long gone....pj will be 35....

You're the same pathetically small team with a bunch of old washed-up dudes and a softie center. Meanwhile, you got Lakers and Jazz getting significantly better (Clippers possibly as well), Nuggets developing, and POR/OKC still right there. Sadly, this looks like the Phoenix Suns trajectory. Play like contenders/pretenders for a couple of years and then fizzle out.

Not getting Butler is a blessing in disguise. Committing Max money to a high milage, injury prone, selfish dude would not have been a good mix for this team.

The power balance in the NBA is finally equal for the most part and the Rockets championship window just creaked open a little bit more. The Rockets can def run is back and have a legitimate shot to winning it all next year.

Im so happy the Rockets didnt trade Gordon (our xfactor) and Clint and gut this team for Butler. It is going to be a blessing in disguise and you guys will know it soon.

The Rockets still in the market to made trades and also signing players using their BAE and MLE.
