What? You’re saying that because it fits your* point and narrative. I can think the rockets get extremely unfairly treated. The excuse for this treatment is the perfection that is validated by this tweet

I wish there was a "meh" option, @Os Trigonum.

I kind of agree with bits and pieces from lots of folks here. It's not that classy, but not that bad, and everyone will forget it soon enough, so it's not a big deal. This is just how people and organizations act in the 21st century attention economy. Kind of gross for oldsters in particular, or "people who were raised right" (TM, Fist-shaking Grandpa). But, meh.

I do love watching compilations of Giannis playing like an out of control 3rd grade YMCA kid tho. Not going to lie about that.

It’s a balance. Posting an audit of the referees from last WCF... not a good look.

Sticking up for your MVP when the media at large decides winning is important again in the face of a historic NBA season when you have to drag your team into the playoffs due to major injuries? I say punch back.

It’s absurd the MVP wasn’t closer than that.

I only base it off by what I see you post, which is constant negativity.

Zero burger. Nether good or bad. Not worthy of the attention it’s received.

Also... Houston Rockets living rent free in a lot of peoples minds. I know for a fact I have never hated a team more than people seem to hate Houston. Very weird.

How bout not coming off weak on the court.

You know, the place where it matters.

If this doesn't help the team win games fans shouldn't care about it.

The Rockets need to stop talking and just win championships.

    Closed mouth don't get fed

It really does not matter what they did . . .. . they would have been maligned by the media

If they did that the media says they should have . . .
. . . . someone would have said "SEE THE EVEN THE ROCKETS KNOW HARDEN SHOULD NOT HAVE WON!!!"
Nature of the media beast these days
    so
    F*ck em

For those of you upset about the Rockets Twitter team saying something, you can enjoy this Tweet by the leading org in sports news (responsible for most narratives and perspectives) that was made before the Rockets even tweeted anything at all.

The fact that this was made before any other tweets demonstrates who is truly classless

What’s weak about being a top team for the last several seasons?

Didn’t this years MVP lose in the same round and lost after being up 2-0?

It also doesn’t hurt the team winning games. Some folks prefer punching back, some folks prefer curling up into a safe ball.

    To each their own.

This site is full of deranged conformist and delusional homers. I keep telling people this organization ain't right, it talks too ****ing much. Ethics and morals are at the lowest of any organization I have ever seen.

Bad idea AND badly executed. MVP voting in previous seasons isn't a reason he should have won this year.

If the team put as much effort to win on the court as their twitter account does to winning against the media we'd have 2 more rings.

Would've been better to say something like "Regardless of result, let's appreciate what Harden did this year", but I don't have a huge problem with it, especially with the host of the event and ESPN twitter taking pot shots at Harden

Lol. Because the two are correlated....

Morley hasn’t scouted a player in 3 years, nothing but working on his Twitter game.

We’d have two rings? That’s not absurd enough, 4 rings!
