    this is a great argument. you changed my mind from being all in on butler to willing to consider this equally. butler is the better player for sure, and of course we all know about the hard cap, but considering we can potentially have love and capela makes a big difference. when weighing both options you have to consider would you trade love and capela for butler? seems like way too much.

    Man, I'm ambivalent about the Butler situation but I'm straight up opposed to Kevin Love. We can't afford to cripple our team for that contract.

    People hate Chris Paul right now and he's significantly more impactful than Love who will cost $31M. You can't have Paul and Love making $71M on your team and call yourself a cap-savvy GM.

    Yeah, pretty much baffled by even the tiniest Love love I’ve seen on these boards. The man proved he is not a playoff performer repeatedly on the James Cavs teams and that’s not baggage we need. People need to get past “the fit” argument centered around his ability to shoot.

    Love and Paul @ $71,000,000 / per year. I can’t type that without laughing to myself. WOW!! That is beyond crazy.

    Over / under set at 100 of 162 possible games of the season that both could play in that one will be out.

    Sadly I would take the over, both are so fragile.

    Side note:
    This is going to kill Harden’s career having to play such heavy minutes year after year to be a contender because his TEAM is delicate and injury prone.

    PS
    I understand the the appeal, but it crazy to depend on them (games missed for one reason or another) with most of the cap space.

    Morey should end this nonsense and go after JaMychal Green with the NT-MLE.

    Aminu the Nigerian prince is better than Prince Luc. He is a good combo forward. The NT-MLE might be enough to get him.

    Unpopular opinion, I don’t think BOS wants to pay Jaylen Brown next year. Trade for Brown instead of Butler

    Capela for Brown won't be enough. Angie might ask for a 1st rounder too. Will that be enough, I don't think so since it's likely to be a low one.
