    I don't like him already.

    Have a terrible feeling about him owning this team and injecting his sons into facets of the organisation.

    I don't like him coming back if next season is his last season under contract. I'd expect him to be fired by December if that is the case.

    All this has the makings of a disastrous off season.

    Not because of extending MDA, but of how the decisions are being made. Hope I'm wrong.

    The owner makes hard decisions, I'll support Morey as the owner but he does not have the money for it.

    100% believe you and this is honestly kind of hard to grasp because at the end of the day - Morey didn't want him here and Les (who is now beloved compared to our current owner) did the exact same thing. So I'll hold judgment, as I know that Morey has always said it's great to have an active owner (in fact he continuously touts it) - so on some level we should be thankful he's willing to take that role.

    At least solidifies your fall guy vs. hot seat statement, Tillman has veto power over Morey obviously. If we know Morey wanted MDA gone, then so does MDA now. What a whirlwind this offseason could be then. I'd just rather not piss off Morey, plenty of teams would be lucky to have him...

    Why do I feel like Fertitta bit off more than he could chew and we are now seeing him regurgitate it all out. If they keep Pringles, Feritta better be willing to spend money in a guy like Thibs to be assistant coach.

    I just don't see Thibs agreeing to be our assistant after all this. If he agrees, hes our next head coach. But then, why not just cut bait with MDA now if that's the case? Why extend him just to replace him?

    Well I've been a Tilman supporter, but if this is true... Direct me to the hater club fella's. Everyman has a breaking point.

    I 100% agree with this statement: "From Morey’s perspective, he has to feel that an NBA executive with his pedigree should be able to hire the head coach to coach his team."

    Morey puts our roster together, the coach should every bit be considered part of that roster. Morey is more accomplished than MDA. A GM is more important than one head coach, and Morey is already signed LONG TERM. Give him zero escape for excuses, let him have the reigns without intervention like this. The only intervention Tilman should have at the moment in regards to Morey is player salary financials. I'm sick and tired of Houston Rocket owners intervening. I'm sick of the bad choices they make, the Jeremy Lins they force upon us ect..

    I guess we'll have to look for some new assistants. Like all of them. I wouldn't be surprised if more people didn't get fired too like trainers, basketball operations, Keith Jones, etc.
