Love + Paul = 280 million contract

Well, given that to make the salaries match Houston would have to give up Capela AND Gordon, I hope whichever plan includes acquiring Love ALSO involves Harden getting all the guys here to sign for min contracts to chase a title (and one or two need to be cool coming off the bench or they aren't getting a second chance...).

 

Yep. This team needs dawgs. I want to see more fight and urgency when it matters most. Love doesn’t check that box for me.

Hartenstein has a brighter future than Kevin Love (and also Capela). He will need to work on his 3 pt shooting over the summer, but I expect him to take his game to the next level. Size, Range, Rebounding, Post Play, Ball Handling, Defense, and Passing he has it all. Future All-Star, he's like a young Arvydas Sabonis. Son of a Pro Baller, Clutch championship MVP credentials, what more can you ask for?

Also, I think he should be called German Chocolate for obvious reasons

 

Agreed, would do it in a heartbeat, but i just don't see him becoming an option (even though you never know), would be shocked if West won't keep him around.

Ja Green is a hot product because of 3-pointers. He is worth 3-year $36 million in current market.

morey certainly deserves some criticism but let's not act like we haven't been the only team to actually threaten the warriors the last two seasons. last i checked, that's quite literally one of the greatest teams in nba history, and the team morey put together has been the only team to go neck and neck w them. sure it hasn't netted us nay hardware, but if morey is "mediocre" what does that make every other gm in the league?

 

Not ideal but let’s be realistic we ain’t getting AD for capela and picks. Love on a bad contract is the best player we could get with the dog **** contract we gave crapela. No one around the league values capela whose entire game is based off of having 2 elite passers spoon feed him open dunks. Now that he can’t even catch the ball for open dunks he’s in the tier of completely useless.

Capela ain’t even a decent bench big in games that matter. Get love and for matchups that don’t work out pick up a cheap big like robin Lopez to fill up the minutes. No point in having a useless 18m player on the bench that the coach is forced to play because he has a big contract. Trade him to the Cavs while he still has “potential”.

 

Love? Might as well put the nail in the coffin on that championship.
