That’s the sad truth of it. There’s no way Morey can trade that contract unless he’s able to put together a package deal that includes Capela and one or two other players. Honestly, if we could package Paul and Capela with perhaps another bench player to bring back a shooter and a PF that can play defense and shoot a little bit, then maybe we get past GS. Otherwise, this team is done, and Harden’s career will be wasted because of Morey.

We need him to be aggressive.

Watching him struggle to beat his man off the dribble is a sad sight to see.

 

Harden wanted to see maybe if CP3 could do it and should learn that he cannot, it's all on him. We need him to understand that and bring it home for us. CP3 is hesitant on threes and aside from aging is just not playing very well. Very disappointing. He did hustle and got Draymond out, that was kind of good.

 

What game did you watch? He took more shots then harden and had the ball the entire fourth quarter where he killed us. He has no business being more aggressive then harden with his decline. Eric Gordon should see the ball them this has been

 

What if Chris Paul realized that there is no way that his body is going to last all the way to the Finals, so there is no point in even trying? Even if the Rockets get past the Warriors, it's likely that CP0 injures himself in the WCF, and if he doesn't injure himself then, he's definitely not lasting in the Finals against the Bucks.

 

My point is that he can't turn it on anymore because he's been deferring too much. First instinct of him is pass, and when he shoots he is not confident.

 

He can’t turn it on because his body can’t explode or lift. Did you see him jumping into the air and going nowhere? He has lost his lift and speed. He looked terrible in the 4th because his body is coocked

 

I give him a semi-pass today. CC on the other hand is no excuse.

 

That's tolerable.

What's not tolerable is that the few times he does get into the lane or create space, he jumps in the air and throws a terrible pass he didn't anticipate. Like a rookie.

 

Might be over for Chris as a deep playoff performer. He can’t beat a man off the dribble.

 

I wonder where we would be if we kept Bev, Trez, and Lou instead of this guy...

 

Age will do that. He has to make uncontrolled moves to try to get that separation that he used to get with ease with a controlled dribble. And he's trying to do it against some pretty great defenders. His passing and vision is still top notch, but he's not able to warp the defense the way he used to.

 

Would have likely scrapped into the playoffs as a 6-8th seed and been 1st round cannon fodder.

 

Try to get Draymond Green another technical foul. CP3 is still one of the best in the business.

 

The sh!tty thing is CP3's attitude about his horrid play. He tries to justify it by saying, "Well, I'm playing D and stuff"...I suppose he feels like he can shoot like crap bc he's doing such a 'great' job when the other team is still scoring on him.
