i disagree with all this. the fact that the others may be hurt will make him even more aggressive. if he "checks out" its because hes playing with two other guys that can drop 60. he doesn't have to be locked in all the time for them to win. with so much talent sometimes they defer too much to each other. this might help them in the short term. their activity and effort will be higher. we cant do anything with KD if he decides to just take over

I didn't see anything happen to Curry, and he was running fine across the court so I just thought they were making BS excuses. I mean the way he was running it must have been something minor. Klay's looked like the foot went straight sideways. Sometimes that happens and you luck out and nothing happens. I've done that myself and yeah, have seen Harden do it. Then en again, he might have woken up and had a really swollen sore foot. I had a sprain once and couldn't even walk on my foot the next day.

If it's close I'm gonna be a nervous wreck. If we blow them out it will not be boring for me one bit. I will be loving each and every second of it. Man, tomorrow can't come soon enough.

Considering how much Morey has talked about building this team to beat the Warriors, I expect the Rockets to have some weird strategies they haven’t previously shown even in wins over the Warriors. Not sure what exactly.

I’m expecting Capela to stay in the paint and allow Draymond to hang out on the perimeter. I think Capela is going to be effective guarding Durant on switches and helping to curb Durant’s midrange game. Tucker should be more effective than Beverly at hugging Durant all game due to his height. If Harden gets the whistle Curry will be distracted and resentful.

    Can’t wait for tomorrow.

Weird how we can see the same game and one of us notice one thing, but not the other, and vice versa. I’m not surprised, not really. So many things enter into watching a game. You’re watching 10 guys running around, hopefully in sort of an “organized” way, but frequently it all seems to devolve into chaos. You have the distractions of the crowd, the crew calling the game, and things going on at home. Crazy!

I’m really looking forward to tomorrow. The 2:30 start surprised me a little bit, more because I kept reading noon here from a lot of people. Never assume! Getting a win in their venue would be the best way to start the series. Fingers crossed.

I will bet you any amount of money this will not happen. GSW would immediately exploit that with a DHO, butt pick for a Curry three.

lulz at thinking we'd ever use a drop defense against the best 5-out motion lineup the league has ever seen.

My point is that he will switch and guard the legitimate 3 point shooters, but he’s going to sag off of Green. Don’t think it’s lulz or in dispute really as every team has done that. I’ll grant I didn’t phrase it well.

Honestly, the Warriors are Thanos, their all stars the infinity stones.

They took it from us last season (Infinity Wars)

    We're in the Endgame now...

I get what you're saying, but in practive, this is often contradictory. You can't sag off Green if he is doing a pick for a shooter, because then you don't have a switcher.

This can be Green or Bogut as the 5. They have the ball a lot, and we want them to shoot. But that doesn't mean they will vs executing their deadly hand-offs, butt picks to Curry/Klay. We play those tightly, so our big can help switch it.

Not an article, but Timberwolves writer/reporter Dane Moore recently uploaded a new episode of his podcast in which he and Charlie Johnson (also Wolves writer) preview the Rox/Dubs matchup and the most impactful players from top to bottom, and it's a great listen in my opinion.

I think last year we showed that if you just let KD get his and clamp down on the others you give yourself a very good chance of defeating the Warriors. Clippers revealed that in this last series, too. KD unloaded for 45 in a Game 5 loss. He went off for 38 in the first half of Game 6 and the game was still close.
