Regardless of whether Kristapz is innocent or not this is a very bad look for an organization that just went through the sexual harassment scandal. I can't believe they traded for him knowing this was coming. But it definitely explains why NY was ready to dump him for pennies on the dollar.
We are worthless for judging him but whenever a woman comes forward she is labeled a golddigging liar and met with tons of sexist comments by fans and that's normal? Why should it stop? A crime should be punished regardless of how long before it happened. A murderer is brought behind bars even 20 years after. But a rape victim should give up on justice and just "get over it" if she doesn't immediately goes to police? SMH
It's hard to get evidence man the rape happened a year ago. But what the woman is saying checks out they did have sex and she was asking money from him thats why he is suing her for extortion.
After thinking about it some more if the amount is right then most likely the girl is right and she was raped. Suing for rape is a career-ending move for Thots if they do it they go for the big bucks because no wealthy dude will go with then again. But this chick only asked for 68k which is nowhere near enough for your average Thot, the amount would only be able to partially pay for a college education which is what the chick is saying. If its true though its really baffling why Porzingis didnt just pay her 68k. That is peanuts with his salary. Why not pay her double maybe then she would have consensual sex with you this time.

If she had that kind of intent she would have asked for a lot more money the first time I mean why push your luck with multiple demands of 68k when you can demand 2M usd straight out in hush money? The fact that the girl has no evidence but still tried to sue Kristaps for rape makes her case more legit to me because if she had bad intent she would have done something to have evidence like file the case when she was still bruised up from getting hit in the face, getting a medical report which would show signs of abuse abd penetration and then invoking the #metoo movement. That would have been more then enough to force Kristaps to either settle for tons of $$$ or actually face prison time.
The girl was a neighbour of Porzingis. Good chance there is some remaining circumstantial evidence like CCTV showing her leaving his apartment in terrible shape after being assaulted. There is also good chance that there is evidence of communication between the accused and her trying to buy her silence. There is a reason the police source said she is found believable. Also it is patronising and offensive to say "trying to invoke the #metoo movement". We have to invoke some movement now to seek justice and protection from the law? What movement does a robbery victim invoke then?
