OK, I am a former Houstonian who lives outside of the country. However, I follow this team on a regular basis (mainly through this website - THANKS Clutch!) Since the change, I have not seen a game, only photos. However, I believe this has been enough to think (What the hell were they thinking). Perhaps it makes absolutely no sense to post something like this once the damage is done (at least for the next 5 years), nevertheless I wanted to know how they have been perceived by my fellow Houstonians. Since I haven't noticed one mention of them on the BBS since the "unveiling" I have posted a poll.

Out of curiosity, please inform me of what people have been saying throughout the country. Did the Dracula/Blair witch jokes die down by now?

Not bad, getting used to them.

I still think a traditional tank top look would have been better, but I'm not mad at them. The road reds actually look pretty nice. When I was at the Garden and the team came running out of the tunnel with their flaming red warm-ups on it was pretty cool.

    i personally love em

couple of the hosts of sportscentre still refer to the away unis when rockets highlights come on as "and the Rockets in their Chinese National Team uniforms"

I like the fact that when you flip through tv stations, you know right away that the Rox are playing. I think they are unique and make them stand out a bit from other teams.

I like the design except for the lettering. They could use another color. Like red, white, and gold [or anything else].

Are the Rockets going to have a throw back day this year like they did last year against Orlando? I went to that game and thought it was smart that they brought the throwbacks out against th last team that ever saw them. I was hoping they would keep up that trend but we already played Orlando at home. Either way I still wanna see the throwback game this year.

I don't think the font fits. I liked the experimental Reebok jerseys posted on the forums better. It's a decent jersey, and it might still grow on me. But I don't consider it a top 5 basketball jersey.
