yeah, I understand it, I mean GSW is like once in a gen team, of course people won't give us a chance. I kinda like being under the radar, it's less pressure on the team and they can just go out and fight
They only scored 34 in the third. And only had a 10 point lead from it. Yes the Rockets lapsed a bit, but that's the game. Runs are a part of it. Like Mike Dan and Tony said: They're hot, but that's ok
We can beat them if they maintain a prideful, lackadaisical attitude throughout the entire seven games. Do you think the Warriors will do that, @Will ?
Every other game, they seem to wake up, and we seem to go to sleep. If we can break the cycle for Game 5, we can survive a Rockets nap in Game 6 and still have one more shot.
Curry just got hot. He hit 2 3's from ridiculous range. I mean 7 ft behind the arc. It was literally the only time the entire game he had a small opening. Then he his a couple more a bit of a scramble type play after an offensive rebound or something...dont remember exactly. Curry pretty much went on that run by himself. I still cant believe we recovered.
Steph gave it away in his post-game last night. I don't remember his exact quote, but it was basically, "We have to embrace this, and understand that it's a playoff-type experience." The fact that he even has to say that shows how little regard they have for us, or anyone else for that matter. I hope they're still embracing that "playoff-type experience" after we shove it up their ass.
I agree that the Warriors are the best at what they do. But would what they do work so well if the officiating were more like 20 years ago? Last night, we found out.
Just happy to see rockets players showing heart last night. all TV analyst there's only one who really respects the Rockets - Jalen Rose.
I don't blame anyone for writing us off after losing by 41 points and having to play in their arena less than 48 hours later.
If there's any upside to losing that badly, it's that the team that gets blown out usually comes back as focused as possible to make sure they don't get humiliated again. Lose by 5 or 10 points? Eh, maybe you were fine and some plays just didn't go your way. Lose by 25 or more? You need to raise your effort a whole lot.
I listened to Skip Bayless and some of the other windbags yesterday. I would just like to add my thanks to them for spending hours and hours talking not about how the Rockets held the Warriors to 92 points in 48 minutes, but how the whole thing came down to this one play that Kevin Durant screwed up. Thank you, you useless, self-important, lazy, ignorant blowhards, for doing your part to focus the Warriors' thinking on how they can execute their magic in the last possession. The more they focus on that, instead of how they ended up there, the better our chances.
